Medical scheme changes
Bonitas and Umvuzo have made changes to their contributions and benefits effective 1 January 2026. Discovery Health Medical Scheme will make changes effective 1 April 2026. Read an overview of the changes and contribution rates. If you want to join any other company selected Medical Aid, make a change to your Medical Aid Scheme or Plan option, please follow the process on PepsiCo myHUB online portal.
Gap changes
Admed Supreme Gap has made some adjustments to their benefits and rates for 2026. The contribution payable from January is R372 per family per month. The changes are summarised.
Primary care changes
NEW As from 1 January 2026, PepsiCo employees can also opt for Discovery Flexicare.

How to change your option / scheme
If you want to change your Health Product option, you will need to complete the request form om the PepsiCo myHUB portal.
How to join gap cover
If you are not already an Admed Supreme Gap member, you could join the product on 1 January 2026. A 12-month general waiting period will apply to new joiners.
Waiting periods will be waived if you change from one gap provider to another with 2 or more consecutive years of cover. Please submit a membership certificate from your current provider with the application form.

How to join a Primary care health insurance plan
As a PepsiCo employee you will be able to join either Discovery Flexicare of Momentum Health4Me on 1 January 2026.
Your medical scheme membership will be cancelled if you join one of these products as you can not belong to both a medical scheme and a primary care product through PepsiCo payroll.
These are not registered medical schemes, but primary care health insurance products offering primary care benefits. These products are not substitutes for medical scheme membership. Benefits are limited to primary care benefits and do not include benefits such as planned procedures in hospital, prescribed minimum benefits nor specialized services such specialized dentistry, specialized radiology, cancer treatments, etc.
