Medical scheme changes
Fedhealth and Discovery has made changes to their benefits effective 1 January 2026. Read an overview of the changes. Discovery Health medical scheme contribution rates will however increase 1 April 2026.
Gap changes
Admed Gap has made some adjustments to their benefits and rates for 2026. The contribution payable from January is R427 per family per month for the Admed Supreme Gap option and R312 per family per month for the Admed Primary option. The changes are summarised.
How to change your option / scheme
Please sign in below if you want to change your option within your current medical scheme or change medical schemes within your employer preferred arrangements effective from 1 January 2026.
If you do not want to make any changes, then no action is required, and you will automatically remain on your current arrangements for 2025.
- If you are changing between medical schemes, please download the applicable schemes application form and email this to the HC Operations team for processing.
- No new waiting periods or penalties will apply in changing your plan or medical scheme (between Discovery & Fedhealth) for next year.
- The submission deadline for all changes and application forms is 28 November 2025.
All changes will be effective from 1 January 2026.
Please use your ID number as username and membership number as password.
How to join gap cover
If you are not already an Admed Gap member, you have the opportunity to join the product on 1 January 2026. Certain Waiting Periods may apply.
