Medical scheme changes
Bestmed, Bonitas and Discovery Health Medical Schemes have announced their 2026 contribution increases and benefit changes for year ahead. You have the opportunity to change your medical scheme or medical scheme option from 13 October 2025 to 30 November 2025 on the Nedbank Employee Portal. Please note: Any changes made will be effective from 1 January 2026.

How to change your option / scheme
Nedbank Employees - Please use the Nedbank Employee Portal. The system will open from the 13 October to 30 November 2025. If you are changing your medical scheme, you also need to complete a new application form which will be sent to you once you have made your selection
Nedbank Pensioners - Please use the tool to indicate your change by 01 December 2025 . The change will be made effective from 1 January 2026. If you are changing your medical scheme, you also need to complete a new application form which will be sent to you once you have made your selection. System will open from 20 October 2025.
Please use your ID Number as username and membership number as password.
How to join gap cover
If you are not already a Sirago Gap member, you have the opportunity to join the product on 1 January 2026. Certain Waiting Periods may apply.
