Medical Aid contributions 2024

Employees on Essential Comprehensive plan have now 2 options for 2024:

• Classic Comprehensive
• Classic Smart Comprehensive

JNJ Subsidy is based on below calculation:

• Member subsidy = 100% of essential saver cost For Essential plans & above
• Member subsidy = 100% of the actual plan cost for Coaster Saver & below
• Spouse / Adult subsidy = 95% of classic saver cost For Essential plans & above

Employees on fixed term contract (FTC) will receive an allowance = Coastal Saver Member Subsidy amount & it increase every time the Medical aid Subsidy Amounts increase.
