Medical scheme changes
Discovery Health Medical Scheme and Medihelp have made changes to their contributions and benefits effective 1 January 2025. Read an overview of the changes and contribution rates.
Gap changes
Ambledown has made some adjustments to their benefits and rates for 2025. The contribution payable from January is R295 per family per month. The changes are summarised.
Primary care changes
There have been some changes to the benefit and contribution for 2025 on Momemtum Health4Me (Gold Day-to-day, including GP Booster and Base Accident cover).
How to change your option / scheme
If you want to change your Health Product option, you will need to complete the request form.
How to join gap cover
If you are not already an Admed Supreme Gap member, you have the opportunity to join the product on 1 January 2024. No waiting periods will be imposed if you join 1 January 2024, waiting periods may apply for existing employees joining later the year.
How to join primary care
If you are not already a Momentum Health4Me member, you have the opportunity to join the product on 1 January 2025. No waiting periods will apply. Your medical scheme membership will be cancelled if you join this product. This is not a registered medical scheme but a health insurance product, it is not a substitute for medical scheme membership. Benefits are limited to primary care benefits and do not include benefits such as planned procedures in hospital, prescribed minimum benefits and specialised services such specialised dentistry, radiolgy, etc etc
