Medical scheme changes
Bestmed have made changes to their contributions and benefits effective 1 January 2026.
Discovery Health: Contribution and benefit enhancements have been deferred to 1 April 2026, while benefit changes effective 1 January 2026.

Primary care changes
Health4Me is available to employees earning less than R40 000 per month. There have been some changes to the benefit and contribution for 2026.
How to change your option / scheme
If you want to change your option within your medical scheme, please use the tool to indicate your change. The change will be made effective 1 January 2026. If you are changing your medical scheme, you also need to complete a new application form which will be sent to you once you have made your selection
How to join primary care
If you are not already a Health4Me, and you qualify in terms of the entry criteria (earn less than R40 000 CTC), you have the opportunity to join the product on 1 January 2026. No waiting periods will apply. Your medical scheme membership will be cancelled if you join this product.
